Mana
Mana, in Hawaiian culture is an all-pervading, supernatural energy—divine power and life force that flows through all things. This evocative 35mm film print of the Hawaiian Pink Hibiscus, taken with a Minolta X-370, reflects the inner power that courses both within you and nature itself. Transforming a flower into a powerful symbol of life’s enduring spirit.

Fire Sermon
Fire Sermon - the Ādittapariyāya Sutta taught by Buddha on top of Gayasisa Hill near Gaya, India. Teaches that, "Everything is Burning". The six internal sense faculties are burning. Eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind are burning with the three poisons; Ignorance, Greed and Anger. Their external phenomena, all that is perceived, comes into contact with and thus all resulting consciousness is burning with the fuel of the three poisons. To attain liberation, one must transmute the fuel with which they burn from the three poisons into their equal opposites, the three jewels. Ignorance into Wisdom, Greed into Generosity and Anger into Compassion. So I ask you, with what fuel are you burning; the three poisons or the three jewels? 35mm - Minolta X-370. Heart lake, Applegate, Oregon.

03
Wu-wei
This film print of Yosemite Falls was captured during a National Park road trip when I was 18, with my two best buddies, just after high school graduation. Titled Wu-wei, it reflects the Taoist philosophical concept taught by Lao-Tzu, meaning "effortless action," "non-doing," or "action without force," embodying a practice of moving harmoniously, without resistance, with the present moment. A way of radical acceptance. Such as the river flowing in persistent harmony and flexibility around obstacles.

04
Mitote
A 35mm film shot taken on Minolta X-370 from my travels through Mexico, this print captures the vibrant cascades of Agua Azul in Chiapas, Mexico. Inspired by the Toltec concept of Mitote—the chaos of a thousand conflicting voices in the mind trying to speak at once—it invites reflection on the noise of judgmental thoughts that we should not take personally. Mitote prevents us from seeing the reality of truth. Simply witness Mitote without judgment and regain personal freedom beyond self doubt and others opinions. Inspired by, "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz.

05
Harmonic Resonance
Captured on 35mm with a Minolta X-370, Harmonic Resonance displays a phenomena of physics and meta-physics with Mind-Body and Biomedical application. This physical principle demonstrates when two phenomena, such as two ripples; vibrate at the same frequency their vibrations are amplified. In equal yet opposite application, two frequencies out of sync will diminish their vibrations. Everything is energy. Live in a way and engage with phenomena that amplify, not diminish your vibration. Inspired by, "The Biology Of Belief" by Bruce H. Lipton.

06
Metanoia
Metanoia, rooted in the Greek philosophical concept meaning "change—beyond—mind," embodies a profound transformation of both heart and mind, evoking a new perception of reality. Metanoia is a symbol of renewed vision, transformation and transcendence of outdated, limiting beliefs. 35mm - Minolta X-370. Redwood Highway.

07
Gratitude
Captured on 35mm with a Minolta X-370, Gratitude embodies a profound lesson from a ceremony with the Huni Kuin tribe, where the shaman Yube taught that the joy of our lives is equal to the gratitude we express. "I strive to be as the ocean, she never stops singing - alway praising God" - Yube.
